Chaitra Navratri 2026 from when is it: According to the Hindu calendar the grand festival of Chaitra Navratri this year will be celebrated from 19 March 2026 to 27 March 2026. During these nine days, devotees of Goddess Durga will perform proper worship rituals and spiritual practices. The first day of Navratri Pratipada of the Chaitra month begins on 19 March 2026 at 06:52 in the morning and ends on 20 March 2026 at 04:52 in the morning.
According to the Hindu calendar, the auspicious time for Ghata Sthapana or Kalash Sthapana the first day of Navratri worship is from 06:52 in the morning to 10:10 in the morning. This gives devotees of Shakti a total of three hours and eighteen minutes for Ghatasthapana. Apart from this Ghatasthapana can also be performed during the Abhijit Muhurat on the day of Pratipada, from 11:47 in the morning to 12:36 in the afternoon.

The nine days of Chaitra Navratri are dedicated to the worship and spiritual practice of the nine divine forms of Shakti. Acharya Shri Devesh Kumar Thakur Ji was born into a Maithili Brahmin family, and from childhood, he was blessed with knowledge of parapsychology and paranormal vision. His father was the Head of Department (HoD) of Archaeology at a government university, and his mother was a teacher at a government school.
